Tomorrow my Mom and I are heading out to the coast for a visit. It will be my first time back out there since Halloween. Things out there will be different than my last trip. For one thing we're only going for part of the day. Mom's getting her hair cut, I am desperate to have a burger at "My" burger place and then we have to stop out at the Cannery because Mom needs....fish....or something. My friends are all away. Most of them live in Portland, one is in Colorado (for now). It will still be good to go "home." I hated it when I lived there full time but now I relish every single second I get to spend there. If it isn't too awful out we might even head out to the beach, but only if it isn't raining. I am starting to think that I might be the only person on the planet who likes the idea of going to the beach when it rains. Does it really need to be dry and sunny to sit and stare at waves?
