No no, not now!

I can always tell when I am about to get sick. I can tell because I start to seriously crave fruit and water. I don't mean a passing "hmm... an apple might be good," but "MUST. EAT. BANANA. NOW" kind of craving. The same goes for water. Normally I am a soda person, or a juice person when the soda tastes funky. I barely ever drink just regular water, but when I am sick soda and juice make me ill, and all that tastes good is water. It hasn't been this way my whole life, it's only popped up the last few years (interestingly since I started buying my own groceries). This morning I started to feel that craving, but I blew it off as a side effect of not having gotten any sleep (yes, I know, I am clueless), and I didn't want to eat the last banana, so I went off to work with a Capri Sun juice bag and called it good. It didn't work. By mid afternoon, I was starting to feel that cottony-head, steel wool throat thing, so I went out and bought Ecinacea (that is so not how to spell it but I so don't care right now), Advil Cold and Sinus, and some Benadryl. I took the Ecinacea and Advil to get me through my work day. Now I am off to take some Benadryl to get me through the night and force me to sleep. That should hopefully kick whatever it is I've got on it's butt. I can't get sick. It is the last week before Christmas, the most horrendous shopping week of the year and I am needed. The last thing shoppers need is some sneezy, runny cashier, right? In other news, I've had Vanessa Carlton's "Pretty Baby" in my head for three days now. I kind of like it.
