How do you all do it?
Check it out: I do not always know what I want to write about ahead of time. There are days, (like today) where I spend my whole day thinking of other things and then, whoops! It's time to go to bed and I have no blog post. If it weren't so important to me to write at least something every day then this would be no big deal. I, however, am finally starting to listen to the advice given to me when I first started blogging: "Write every day. It doesn't matter what you write about, just write. It is only through daily writing that you can find your voice and then the words will flow. "
Seriously, I got an e-mail that said that and it wasn't even from Sark.
Still though, as much as I find little things throughout the day that make me go "ooh, this would make an AWESOME blog post" I very rarely write those things down to bring home. I even carry one of those little writer's notebooks in my backpack for those very thoughts and you know what? By the time I find a second to get back to my locker, unlock it and pull that bad boy out, I can't remember what the epiphany was. So much for Erin: The Deep Thinker, eh? I'd settle for Erin: The Long Term Memorist.
And yet the advice whirls around in my brain and what you are left with, my patient readers, is this: a rambling post about not knowing what to post.
Fun eh?
So I put this forth to you, fellow bloggers: how do you decide what to post about at the end of the day and you know that if you do not write something down you just might spontaneously combust from keeping all of your youness to yourself?
