Tunage

I have never been what you would be tempted to call a "quiet" person. I surround myself with noise. If it isn't the television, then it's the stereo and if I have to leave the house I take my discman. Seriously. I think better when there is a little background action going on. Silence stifles my creativity. Every once in a while I get a bug up somewhere and set off in search of a song--a specific song that I must find, right now, a song that will haunt me until I hear it played. Tonight's song is "Life in a Northern Town," by Dream Academy. I love this song, but I forgot that I love this song until earlier tonight when for some reason I started thinking about it. So, I set off into the internet in hopes of downloading this song from somewhere (somewhere legal of course). This song is freakishly hard to find. I looked everywhere, and only found a place to stream about 30 seconds of it....and then.... and then.... and then I downloaded i-tunes. Oh Good Sweet Mother of all that is Pure and Listenable. I have found my new favorite toy. I-Tunes doens't have the song I wanted in it's listing, but... it has so much more. So much more music surfing can happen now. What a great day.
