Maybe We Should Start Handing Out Daisies

What fun is it to have the day off tomorrow if I don't stay up incredibly late tonight....er this morning...okay whatever, you know what I mean.

Thirteen days until the election (twelve when you read this) which means that in a little less than two weeks the ads will be GONE.

Am I alone in just wanting this election to be done already? I'm a politics junkie, so I have been all over this one but even I am getting tired of it all. Everybody is so into bashing everybody else for believing different things that I am beyond annoyed. I wish that at least one of the candidates would air a campaign ad that says "Here's why I rock" instead of "Here's why my opponent sucks". Yarg.

I was thinking about that tonight as I watched ad after ad of "He's a Big Meanie and You Should Hate Him Too."

I'm ready for something positive to come out of all of this hatemongering. Can't we all just get along?

In positive Erinian news, I got to see one of my friends that I never see (he teaches junior high, I've been working a freakish amount of day shifts and we aren't good enough friends yet to hang out on purpose) and it totally made my day.

What a great few days: a new camera, a new computer, Gilmore Girls, Judging Amy, Daily Show, Conan O'Brien and I got to talk for a few minutes with a buddy. Yay!!
