Wind Chimes Clink Outside

It's a quiet Wednesday afternoon. I only had to work for four hours earlier today and now I'm back at home, happily surfing the web. Over in the corner is this fan my Mom bought about a month ago that somehow manages to sound like a muted vaccuum cleaner. It's oddly soothing. I would take a nap but in a minute I should go wake up my Mom. It's nice to just have some quiet space to myself after spending the last few weeks being constantly surrounded by people in some form or another.

I like lazy afternoons like this.
