Dressing Rooms Need Air Conditioning
Praise the lord Denim on the high and holy Levi mountain, my boss said I can wear jeans to work. Actually he told me this last week, when we were discussing the dress code. He told me that I was allowed to wear jeans as long as they don't have any holes or fringe or are frayed. I was so excited I did a little happy dance right there in the store.
In case you're wondering, my happy dance resembles the hopping Rizzo the Rat does in The Muppet Christmas Carol when he falls down Bob Cratchit's chimney and lands on their dinner goose.
But I digress.
When I got home I went through the few pairs of jeans that travelled with me from Vegas. Every single pair has holes except one. That pair is hole, fringe and frayed-edge free. It also has a waist so high, Urkel would declare the pair unfashionable. So, tonight while I was waiting for Mom to come and take me home from work I went shopping for jeans.
I tried on about eight different pairs of jeans and had the same results I had in Eugene: bad. There are a couple of other places I can check, but for now I am work-jeanless...so I did what any self respecting girl would do after subjected to the torture of trying on pair after pair of jeans only to have each pair fit more funkily than the last: I bought tunes.
I absolutely LOVE the Yellowcard cd I bought a couple of weeks ago during the Eugene trip. I love it so much, it is practically all I've been playing since I bought it. Tonight I bought another one of their cd's, One For the Kids.
Oh. My. God. I love this band!!!!! Seriously. I'm listening to the CD right now and don't really want to turn it off, but the season premeire of ER is in a few minutes, so I'll have to finish listening later.
Good tunes=Good mood. :)
Oh yeah, and Yay Cable!!
