They Don't Grow In The Bins You Know

Today I got to see the Watermelon Guy for the first time.

The Watermelon Guy is the guy who grows watermelons for the store. He decided to bring some in while I was waiting for my bus.

You just haven't lived until you've watched a grown man roll watermelon after watermelon out of the back of a huge shiny black truck and take them into the grocery store.

When he put the first watermelon into the shopping cart I thought he was trying to return it and had a good laugh over that until he pulled another watermelon out of the back of his truck....and another and another until he had filled up a shopping cart. He filled up three shopping carts by the time my bus came and I had to stop staring.

I can now say, "I saw this guy and he had huuuuuuuuuge melons!" and be completely serious.

Life is good.
