Tonight my Mom and I went to see a free concert in the park. It was Ottmar Leibert or something like that. He was okay, but I feel silly for thinking that the people playing were a warm up band right up until my Mom asked me how I liked the guy so far.
The people watching was pretty cool though and the park we were in was very picturesque (or however you spell it). Mostly I zoned out and watched the people go by and the crazy loooney dancers (that is my new official name for them) who were totally into their own groove down by the stage.
This blog has taken on more of a diary form than I originally intended and I hope to rectify that soon with some serious headline surfing and good reading. Right now I am reading this book and it is actually pretty good so far. I'm not actually all that far into it. The writing is good, but every time I get home and have time to read it, I am distracted by the multitudes of these books that are in my room just begging to be re-read. I can't help it, I'm addicted. Is there anything more comforting than reading the same books so many times the pages start to feel clothy?
