Who Knew
I think that maybe, just maybe I might be getting the hang of this Grown Up Job thing. Of course, I don't want to say that too soon, but I am really liking the new job. It's an amazing thing to go from retail to an office. It's kind of like the first time in college when somebody asks if they can leave to go use the bathroom and the instructor says "You're not in high school anymore, you don't have to ask. Just go". I don't have to ask to take a break from my phone. I don't have a scheduled lunch, I can just go eat when I'm hungry and take as long as I need to either feel full or guilty for being away from my desk. I can have my cell phone on my desk and check my personal e-mail account if things get a little slow. Awesome. That being said... Who knew that sitting at a desk from 9-5 could be so tiring? And even though I had just spent all day sitting, the thing I wanted to do most was come home and sit in front of the tv. I'm such a slacker! Instead I went to my old job, now known as my "other" job and put in a few hours making coffee and straightening stuff. Pret-ty low key. So low key, in fact, that I think I'm going to go to bed so I can recover from it all. I promise to be more entertaining tomorrow.
