Season

Wow, all morning this site has been sooooooooooooooo slow. I tried, just now, to come up with a catchy metaphor for how slow it's been but, alas, the sunshine outside is fogging my brain. Whoever might have told you that there are no seasons in Las Vegas lied. There are four very distinct seasons. There are 5 months of bone-chilling coldness (Winter), two weeks of cloudy and sometimes rainy weather (Spring), 6 months of heat that would make Satan turn on an airconditioner (Summer) and two weeks of pleasant, warm afternoons and cooler evenings (Autumn). Four seasons right there. :o) Yes, that's right folks.... four days ago it was misty and cold. Today I have on a tank top, and were my legs not blindingly white (right now they make binder paper look tan) I'd have on shorts. Instead I have jeans, but they're lightweight. Welcome to Las Vegas summer on the 9th day of March :o) Did you ever find a scene in a movie or television show, that even though you watch it a zillion times it still makes you laugh? I have one on right now. It's a scene from a Christmas episode of Spin City. It's the one where they have to convince this boy that there really is a Santa Clause, and Mike, Carter and Paul are climbing over the roof of the kid's house. When Michael J Fox slips on black ice and then jumps back up, it's one of the funniest things ever. Really if you haven't ever seen this episode, go buy the 1st volume of the Spin City Highlighted Episodes DVD. It's worth it. I'm off to work. Much retailiness awaits.
